Kourtney Gleason spent over a decade producing acclaimed films, series, and branded work for other production companies — now she’s doing it for herself.

Her longform credits include Into the Fire (Emmy-nominated, Netflix), Becoming Bond (SXSW Audience Award, Hulu), Youtopia (Outfest Honorable Mention, Tubi), Periodical (Peacock), 88 (Tribeca/Starz), and Jellywolf (Clio Award-winning short for Chanel). She’s also produced pilots and series for Freeform, Amazon, Comedy Central, Paramount+, CBS Viacom, Pop Network, and Funny or Die.

In 2023, she launched Happy Misfit — a production company focused on bold, emotionally intelligent storytelling across genres. She’s currently in festivals with two original shorts, in development on a documentary exploring gay bear culture, and building out a slate of scripted and unscripted projects with a sharp POV and cinematic edge.
